The Rook

Every cop has to learn the ropes. Even cops who haven’t hit puberty yet.

This is a short film that I made with the amazingly talented Dmitry Kuliaev. I met Dmitry through the SPARK program in San Francisco. For 8 weeks, he was my apprentice. Our final project was this short which was directed, shot, and edited by the awesome Justin Morrison of Happy Little Guillotine Films (www.hlgfilms.com). The whole thing was Dmitry’s idea and we improvised and filmed the entire short in about an hour. Dmitry is amazing and a much better actor than me.
